Erie County Planning Commission

The Erie County Planning Commission is a 46-member board with a nine-member Executive Board. Every municipality in Erie County is represented on the Planning Commission, as is Erie County. The Commission is responsible for maintaining the Erie County Comprehensive Plan; maintaining the Erie County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance; promoting public interest and involvement in, and understanding of, the Erie County Comprehensive Plan; assisting local municipalities with the study and evaluation of local and regional planning issues, as requested; and generally being familiar with the programs and actions of the Department of Planning.

The Erie County Planning Commission meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. All meetings are held at 6:30 PM in the Admiral Room at the Raymond M. Blasco Memorial Library, 160 East Front Street, Erie PA unless otherwise advertised. All meetings are open to the public.
